It’s hard to throw a rock in the singer/songwriter music scene without hitting someone that I’ve met at some point. Most are talented and many of them are friends, but below I have listed the ones I believe to be the best. Most of these are friends, but all of them are artists whose albums I would buy even if they were enemies. I haven’t bothered to list the many well-known artists that I enjoy as they don’t need my help w/ exposure. Below I have listed the best artists that you might not already be fans of. Enjoy!

Billy Cerveny – www.billycerveny.com
– Billy is a wonderful storyteller – a gift I am painfully devoid of! Many of his songs are like 4 minute novels that you’ll want to read and re-read. He comes to town quite a bit, so I would certainly recommend that you check him out.

Matthew Perryman Jones – www.matthewperrymanjones.com
– Matthew’s songs have a way of really getting deep into your heart. Probably because he writes them from deep within his own. Not to mention, he has the best voice of anyone I have the privilege of knowing. He’s not doing a ton of shows right now, but you can order his CD from his website…you won’t regret it.

Bill Mallonee – www.billmallonee.net
– He’s prolific and yet consistently profound. There is a wealth of great music on his site, but I would recommend that you pick up “Dear Life” – his latest release (last time I checked). It’s sort of like jumping on a moving train, not knowing where it’s been or where it’s going, but…how else are you going to get on?

Aaron Shust – www.aaronshust.comm
– I have a feeling that you’ll all be hearing his name a lot more in the near future…he’s that good. His new CD is about to be released, but you can listen to clips on his site. Intelligent worship music…finally! …And a great voice!

Brian Webb – www.brianwebb.com
– Brian was the first guy with a guitar and a song to inspire me. If you like to think – you’ll love his songs. His LIVE shows are always fun. Check one out and you’re almost certain to become a fan.

Justin Rosolino – www.justinrosolino.comm – I first heard Justin when I did a show with him a few years ago. His voice is great – very smooth. He can play circles around just about anyone on the guitar, and his writing is intelligent and catchy. You can purchase “Wonderlust” from his site. You’ll love “St. Francis!”

ChristCommunity Church – www.christcommunityconyers.org – CCC is a small church in Conyers that is made up of about 150 of the most down to earth, loving people I’ve ever met.
